SAFARI and Project ARMS: Advancing Safe and Sustainable 2D Materials Research in Europe

SAFARI and Project ARMS are two collaborative initiatives under the Graphene Flagship umbrella, working together to advance the application of the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework. These projects are part of a larger effort by the Graphene Flagship initiative to promote Europe’s strategic autonomy in graphene and 2D materials technologies.

Graphene Flagship Initiative

The Graphene Flagship initiative brings together 118 academic and industrial partners across 13 research and innovation projects and 1 coordination and support project. This ambitious program, funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, aims to advance Europe’s position in graphene and 2D materials technologies.
