Workshop Recap: Making MXenes Work for Industry

Thank you to everyone who attended our online workshop, “Safe, Sustainable, Scalable: Making MXenes Work for Industry,” held on June 17.
Organized as part of the SAFARI and MUNASET Horizon Europe projects, the event brought together representatives from academia, industry, and innovation communities to discuss the future of MXenes and other advanced 2D materials.
During the workshop, participants explored the fundamentals and emerging applications of MXenes, the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework, and specific case studies from the SAFARI and MUNASET projects. Discussions also focused on future pathways toward safe, sustainable, and scalable implementation.
We extend our gratitude to all the speakers for their insightful presentations and to the participants for their engagement and contributions. We look forward to continuing these collaborations toward a more sustainable and innovative future for advanced materials.
