The Graphene Flagship has established itself as one of Europe’s greatest success stories in scientific innovation. By creating a massive knowledge base of over 5,700 scientific publications and more than 336,000 citations, the initiative has laid the groundwork for advanced materials research across the continent.

Bringing together 126 partners from 21 countries, the Flagship has successfully driven the transition of graphene and 2D materials from laboratory concepts to real-world applications, emphasizing quality, safety, and sustainability at every step.
