A Fantastic Start for SAFARI at Graphene Week 2024!

Graphene Week 2024 has kicked off brilliantly for SAFARI! We have been active since day one with a range of engaging activities:

Day One Highlights:

• In the morning, SAFARI representatives participated in a workshop on roadmaps with all partners under the Graphene Flagship umbrella.
• In the afternoon, the Graphene Week was officially launched with incredible presentations covering the technical aspects of 2D materials, innovation potential, and EU investments. Yury Gogotsi highlighted the diversity of applications in the world of 2D materials, focusing on MXenes.

Day Two Highlights:

• SAFARI is on its second day of Graphene Week 2024 with a poster presentation!
• Today’s highlight, from 18:30 to 20:00, will feature Jaqueline de Godoy, PhD from AXIA Innovation GmbH, presenting her study on the market application of MXenes and Graphene produced through a Safe and Sustainable-by-Design framework.
