SAFARI is attending the Materials Week 2024 is Cyprus from 17th of June till 21st of June of 2024.
The event focus on discussing the role and use of materials in diverse and complex value chains. Specifically, it focuses on discussing the role of and expectations from materials R&I in relevant policies such as the EU Green Deal, Plastic Action Plan, Chips Act, Critical Raw Materials Act, Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability.
Grzegorz Kubicki (in the picture), is representing the SAFARI consortium. He is presenting our novel approach to reusing MAX phases is his oral presentation titled “Circularity of MAX Phases: From Worn Parts and Broken Samples to 2D Functional Materials” during session No. 7, Sustainability & Circularity Driven by Advanced Materials. Additionally, Grzegorz Kubicki will also be attending two training courses on:
Grzegorz Kubicki´s learning experience at the conference is important for the overall SAFARI project because knowledge transfer occurs in all interactions between consortium partners. Additionally, the insights he gains at the conference enhance his own research results.
